"This cabernet sauvignon is a delicious wine and exceptional value for money."

"Thanks again for putting us onto this wine which is now a household staple - it goes with everything!"

From the mountain slopes of Wellington in South Africa, this special cuvée made by the Truter family are absolute masters of the craft in working the vines grown on weathered granite and sandstone with a high clay content providing plenty of water retention. Only the best grapes chosen for vinification and de-stemmed before gentle pressing and malolactic fermentation. 80% of the wine is aged in 3 year old French oak for 12 months and 20% in stainless steel but so well integrated that the wine rests very much on the fruit.

Intense ruby red, good varietal character with a beautifully delicate, smooth palate and plenty of berry and wild red fruit aromas and lingering finish. Well-integrated oak, plenty of vanilla and spice on the nose. Full-bodied but not sugary or concentrated. Harmonious.
