Laurent and Karen Boussey use organic, biodynamic farming on their tiny half hectare vineyard on the slopes south of Meursault. Exceptionally low yields, producing only 1500 bottles each year. All the work on the vines is carried out by hand with minimal intervention to preserve the environment. Grapes grown on 60 year old vines and vinified using natural yeast. Aged in oak barrels with no stirring of the lees. Natural second fermentation in oak. No sulphur and no filtration.
In the glass
Golden yellow with powerful peach and ripe apricot aromas. Fresh, elegant attack with rich, concentrated, ripe yellow fruit, acacia aromas with nutty undertones. Pure, mineral, generous and complex fruit finish. Will keep for 10 years in cellar conditions.
