Fresh, lively and well rounded white Burgundy from grower Christophe Grandmougin. Grapes are grown on old vines in his tiny family vineyard. The low yields ensure maximum fruit flavours. No chemicals are used at any stage of production. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small crates after a green harvest in late July. The wine is partly aged in French oak (50%) while the rest of the ageing takes place in Roman caves which have perfect cellar conditions. A real treat.
In the glass
Rich, gold colour with a honeysuckle, citrus, grapefruit nose. Fresh, lively palate with plenty of mineralogy and a well-rounded, long-lasting finish.
