This classic Viognier is made by the fifth generation of the same family at a vineyard of hills and garrigue between Beziers and Cap d’Agde. The vines benefit from a strong mediterranean, maritime influence and plenty of sunshine. Everything the family do is about conserving and preserving the environment to ensure that future generations continue to farm here. Fermentation of the grapes takes place at low temperature with constant monitoring to ensure that none of the flavours are lost.
In the glass
Pale gold colour with a ripe, fruity, peach and apricot nose. Lovely fresh attack on the well balanced palate with plenty of exotic fruit and spice so familiar to this grape variety. Long, expressive finish.
Love this wine ! Until we discovered this gem , we always drank red - drinking white occasionally on sufferance. This has totally changed our view ; a white wine with a real personality which has become our go to .Delicious!
