Fresh & Intense

Plenty of bright, orchard fruit flavours and a slightly bitter finish, typical of the region and making it a great match for Spanish style food including olives, tapas and seafood.

Aromatic and fresh. Complex white orchard fruits, grapefruit and citrus aromas with discreet spicy notes of fennel and fresh almond with well-balanced acidity on the fresh finish.

One of the rare remaining family vineyards is this part of the DO Rueda, the vineyard is female owned and run by Purificación Pequeno, who took over from her father. Grapes are grown on 65 year old vines and harvested in the dead of night to retain all the flavour of the fruit. The grapes are macerated for up to 12 hours then very gently pressed, remaining on their lees until clarification to provide extra body and flavour.
