Cabernet Franc DOC 2020 Friuli, Villa Vitas
In the hands of Romano Vitas, the Cab Franc grape grown on 100 year old vines finds a tremendous balance between fruit and deth of flavour. Soft tannins, ripe fruits and sunshine.

Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Considerable intensity with inviting hints of pepper and spice underpinning a wealth of red fruit flavours. Well structured with well integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Villa Vitas, in the picturesque medeival village of Strassoldo, has been in the same family for over 100 years - and they remain passionately dedicated to the art of winemaking. The grapes are harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October and, after destemming and crushing, fermented in their skins for several weeks at 22°C. After pressing, the wine undergoes spontaneous malolactic fermentation and is then left for several months in the tanks to refine, with 10% aged in French oak barriques before bottling.

If your order is missing or damaged, we will send a replacement or offer a full refund. Non-fine wine under £40 that is corked or faulty can be returned for credit within 6 months of purchase. Fine wine is dealt with on a case-by-case basis. You have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund within 14 days of receiving the goods. You must inform us of your decision to cancel and arrange for the goods to be returned in a saleable condition. Refunds are issued via the original payment method.
