Small grower farming just three small plots that have been in the family for generations. Currently under the intelligent and talented stewardship of Sandra Combat who brings her own style to this iconic wine.
In the glass
Vivid ruby colour with floral (violet prominent), wild black berries and spice on the nose. Concentrated ripe black cherry, plum and blackberry palate with hints of olive and chocolate and a little spice. Elegant, well-balanced with soft tannins and a complex finish.

The Combat family have been in the region since the very beginning of the Crozes- Hermitage appellation - and Sandra Combat is making impressive strides with her glorious vintage made from three small plots at the foot of Mercurol using low-intervention, natural farming.
The vines are trained to the great height of 2m in order to capture the light and hard debuting is carried out to guarantee the best aeration as well as stripping in early September to optimise the maturity of the grape.
About the vineyard
Sandra Combat is at the helm of her family's Croze Hermitage vineyard in the heart of the appellation. She farms organically and biodynamically with an absolute focus on the soil. She is part of a new generation who are producing wines of exceptional quality, character and personality while continually looking to the future. One to watch!
