In the glass
Ruby red colour with lots of red and dark berries on the nose and a touch of spice. Fresh, fruity palate with good balance and a youthful feel.
Red Navarra wine is perfect with beef, lamb and slow cooked meats as well as cheese and mushrooms.
Our new Spanish wines are made at the historical vineyards of Navarra in Spain, at a winery founded in 1911 by Don Victoriano Flamarique. The winery supports many small, local farmers, using sustainable agriculture. The traditional Rioja grapes, Tempranillo, are allowed to get to full, fruity maturity before harvest before undergoing traditional vinification and fermentation at low temperatures to preserve freshness.
About the vineyard
Our new Navarra collection is made by one of the oldest wineries in the region, set up in 1911 to support small family growers. Traditional methods are used in the vineyards and grapes allowed to reach full maturity before harvest. Fermentation at low temperatures to preserve the fresh fruit flavours.
