In the glass
Intense black cherry colour with a violet rim. Juicy, red fruits with peppery spices and a hint of mocha. Very expressive raspberry, marmalade and blackberry background with a well-integrated balsamic, spicy note. Good acidity and smooth tannins with a hint of liquorice and vanilla on the finish.

From the high lands of Rioja near the village of Briones, grapes at this small vineyard are grown on old vines that benefit from fresh sea breezes and warm sun. Grapes are cold macerated before fermentation to preserve all the freshness of the fruit. 50% of the wine is aged for 3 months in French oak barrels.
