Merlot Cabernet Syrah 'Limited Release' Equilibre IGP Côtes de Thongue 2022, Domaine de l’Arjolle

The Teisserenc family integrate sustainable viticulture with a strong commitment to biodiversity. The estate has restored natural habitats, resulting in the return of wild orchids, and planted over 1000 trees and shrubs to date to support bird and insect life. Grass is grown in between the vines, grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September. Each grape variety is vinified separately before blending with a 10 day maceration at controlled temperatures to ensure gentle extraction. Only the finest lots are selected for the final blend which is then aged for a year in stainless steel vats, and 2 months in oak.
