  • Soft & fruity Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa's Western Cape
  • Plenty of wild red berry fruit aromas with hints of vanilla and spice
  • Delicate, smooth palate, with good concentration
  • Long, balanced finish

From the mountain slopes of Wellington in South Africa, this special cuvée made by the Truter family are absolute masters of the craft in working the vines grown on weathered granite and sandstone with a high clay content providing plenty of water retention. Only the best grapes chosen for vinification and de-stemmed before gentle pressing and malolactic fermentation. 80% of the wine is aged in 3 year old French oak for 12 months and 20% in stainless steel but so well integrated that the wine rests very much on the fruit.
