World's best winemaker award Decanter 2021

Multi award-winning with high ratings from Tim Atkins, Robert Parker, Jancis Robinson, James Suckling Decanter, Best World Winemaker for Red Wine, Best winery of Argentina, Decanter.

Rare find wine from an exceptional terroir in Alto Valle, Rio Negro Patagonia Argentina at 462 metres above the sea. De-leafing and green picking is carried out in December. Manual harvest in small trays of 20 kg in order not to damage the grapes. The bunches are carefully monitored and only those achieving perfect maturity are selected. A second grape by grape selection is made on table before the start of temperature controlled vinification. Long maceration of 30 days. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Intense deep cherry red colour.  Complex blackberry and strawberry fruit aromas. The oak is perfectly integrated with a light vanilla touch. Superb structure with deep paprika, peppery and coffee aromas. Long, subtle, smooth and harmonious finish.
