Saumur Blanc AOC 2022, Domaine du Fondis

Laurent Jamet is the fourth generation of his family to make wines of exceptional personality along the banks of the Loire. The plots used to make this typical white are grown on plots on the left bank, on clay atop the local limestone. Very small yields are hand harvested from 110 year old vines and traditional methods used including leaving grass between the vines.
