Piemonte in Italy is home to the Barbera grape, that goes into this classic red. Hand harvests and a very short time in oak bring depth and character to the wine without too much heaviness. Bright ruby red with an elegant violet and cherry nose. Lots more fresh cherry and cranberries on the palate with just a tiny hint of chocolate. Easy drinking with a long, balanced finish.
