The original terroir farmed by world reknowned Pascal Thomas is now in the capable hands of Domaine de Sacy, who continues to produce a Sancerre in the Thomas style, and that is an example of the very best of the region.

Pale yellow with classic sauvignon green tinge, highly floral nose, and a multi-layered white flowers and fruit complexity. Ample, long, fresh finish. An absolutely delightful Sancerre to drink on its own or with fish, goats cheese or shellfish.

How it's made
Domaine de Sacy farm their tiny plots on the steep hillsides around the village of Chavignol (also known for it's small round goats cheeses.) This allows then to select his wines by plot and to ensure that Traditional methods of agriculture including hand harvesting, traditional filtration and no oak. Only 25,000 bottles produced each year.
Pascal Thomas has handed over the reins of his tiny plots on the steep hillsides of Chavignol, to the expertise of his right hand man at Domaine de Sacy. All the work on the vines is carried out by hand and the wines an absolutel delight.
