Christophe Pichon is one of the Rhone's star growers. He farms entirely organically and without mechanicals - using horses in the vines and traditional methods. The 2020 is drinking well now but will keep in cellar conditions and has great ageing potential. A treat for wine-lovers.
The newest vintage from Rhone star Christophe Pichon is drinking extremely well - but has plenty of ageing potential. Small yields and old vines produce grapes that are concentrated and show enormous typicality. The grapes are harvested by hand and selected on sorting tables. The wine spends 13 months in oak barrels - 75% in new oak and 25% in 1 year old casks. Exceptional work on the vines and in the winery make this a fine wine to watch.
Glorious dark ruby colour with oak and vanilla on the nose, giving way to cassis and blueberry. Rich, savoury palate with ripe tannins. Well-balanced with a long, pleasant finish. Will continue to improve with age.

If your order is missing or damaged, we will send a replacement or offer a full refund. Non-fine wine under £40 that is corked or faulty can be returned for credit within 6 months of purchase. Fine wine is dealt with on a case-by-case basis. You have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund within 14 days of receiving the goods. You must inform us of your decision to cancel and arrange for the goods to be returned in a saleable condition. Refunds are issued via the original payment method.
