Gold Medal Decanter 2022

Victoria Moore – Daily Telegraph

‘Luscious and succulent with thick fruit like ripe red berries with mace and allspice’.

95/100 James Suckling

‘There’s real intensity on the nose, which delivers spicy blackberry and bell pepper aromas. Palate is suave and dense with admirable underlying acidity and bags of dark chocolate, cassis and pepper flavours. Very precise with enormous length and silky tannins. A rich expression. Full and rounded finish’.

94/100 Tim Atkins

‘Intense red colour. Exuberant nose with red and black fruit aromas and a hint of mint. On the palate it is fresh and well balanced, with a long finish and round tannins’.

From the home of Fabre Montmayou, this spectacular award winning varietal is grown and produced in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. All the work on the vine is done by hand and traditional production methods include the use of natural yeasts and a long maceration before ageing for 12 months in French oak.
