The Jamet family has been farming their land on the right bank of the Loire, near Saumur, for four generations. This was one of the first wines we imported into the UK over 20 years ago and the Jamet family represent everything that we love about this business. The old alluvial sand so familiar in the area are worked with enormous attention to detail using traditional methods with the least possible human intervention and sustainable viticulture with organic products. No oak. The pure fruit goes into the bottle. Elegant and beautifully light red, a summer favourite, particularly as it delicious served lightly chilled.
