Well known appellation in the Cotes du Rhone, producing a marvellous blend from Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. The grapes are from old vines, which produce smaller yields of really intense fruit. Each grape is picked at optimal maturity according according to its place in the vineyard and sorted manually. Extremely precise vinification including a long, soft maceration. Each grape variety is vinified separately to retain their personality and temperature. Part of the Syrah and Mourvèdre spends 1 year in oak barrels before blending of the cuvee. Very light filter to ensure the wine retains all its natural character and personality.
