The iconic first release from Armand de Brignac, Brut Gold is a prestige cuvée crafted from a trio of vintages sourced from some of Champagne’s finest terroirs.
In the glass
Bright and expressive, it combines vibrant fresh fruit character with layers of complexity. On the nose, aromas of freshly baked biscuits lead to a rich palate of crystallised citrus, orange blossom, peach, and a touch of lemon, enhanced by hints of vanilla and honey. A lingering finish with refined acidity completes this luxurious and celebrated Champagne.
A blend of three vintages. Made from first-press juice only. Base wines undergo secondary fermentation in bottle and mature on lees for around six years to develop richness. A small portion of the dosage is aged in French oak, adding subtle toasted and vanilla notes.
About the vineyard
Armand de Brignac is a prestige Champagne from the Cattier family, who have cultivated vineyards in Chigny-les-Roses since 1763. Under patriarch Jean-Jacques Cattier, production remains limited to preserve the family’s artisanal winemaking traditions. The Cattier cellars, among the oldest and deepest in Champagne, feature Gothic, Renaissance, and Roman architecture. Armand de Brignac is aged in a secure, gated section 119 steps underground.
