Krug Grande Cuvée was created from Joseph Krug’s aim to make the best possible champagne every year, regardless of weather or vintage. Each year, Maison Krug continues this legacy with a new Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée – the most complete expression of Champagne.
In the glass
Deep golden hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is rich and complex, offering aromas of ripe fruits, toasted nuts, and hints of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, with layers of citrus, almond, and brioche, leading to a long, harmonious finish.
Krug Grande Cuvée is a blend of multiple vintages, with recent editions incorporating wines from up to 13 different years. The base wines undergo fermentation in small oak casks, followed by extended aging on lees, which imparts depth and complexity to the final product.
