Beautiful golden brown colour with sweet and delicate aromas of candied fruit and acacia flower with undertones of sweet spice and an ample finish.
Boutique Grappa, made in Piemonte, Italy from 100% Barbera grapes grown on 30 year old vines, using only the best quality grape skins from a specific plot in one of the finest vineyards in the Monferrato hills.
During distillation, only the head steam is kept to preserve the complexity of the original grape aromas. Aged for 10 years in barrels that were previously used for aging Sauternes.
About the vineyard
Family run high end vineyard and lemon farm in the Monferrato Hills, in the Italian region of Piemonte. The Barbera grapes are specially selected to make high end small batch Grappas and the family also make a superb Limoncino from their own grown organic lemons.
