Maria and her husband Harald Rauen took over this 4th generation estate of 13 hectares in 1990. The 50-year-old vines grow on the steep slopes of Middle Mosel and rival the best in the area for their delicacy, minerality and wonderful wildflower flavours.

In the glass
Pale gold with green tinge, peachy, floral nose and a beautifully clean, mineral palate packed with stone fruits, meadow flowers and a lingering, refreshing and fruity finish.

Grapes are hand-picked in mid-October and gently crushed before macerating for 4 hours on the berry skins. Gentle expansion on the lees provides a really fine, fruity character. Incredibly good value for money. Hard to find a Riesling Kabinett of this calibre at this price.
