Grapes from 12 high-altitude plots are hand-harvested, destemmed and gravity-fed into tanks, vinified plot by plot. After fermentation, the wines are aged for around 12 months in a mix of new and second-use French oak barrels and large oak vats, preserving fruit purity while adding structure and finesse. Final blending is carried out after ageing to capture the best expression of each terroir.

About the vineyard

Terrazas de los Andes is renowned for its high-altitude vineyards ranging from 1,000 to 1,650 metres in the foothills of the Andes. Founded in 1999, it pioneered the use of mountain terraces (terrazas) to match grape varieties with the ideal altitude, producing wines of freshness, concentration and purity.
