The vineyard uses ploughing to enable deep rooting and 100% natural fertiliser made from horse manure and organic waste from the estate and absolutely no chemicals or insecticides at any stage of the process. Their Chateau du Retout Blanc is the only wine of its kind in the world. Made from a blend of four grape varieties (originally from different French regions), planted on 1.8 hectares of this well-known Haut Medoc Bordeaux Chateau. Only 9000 bottles are produced by year. The grapes are hand harvested and then selected on sorting table. Temperature controlled fermentation with vinification on lees in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 10 months in oak and amphora.
