Each parcel comes from a unique site within the vineyard which is renowned for its terroir. This land delivers the original vibrant flavours for which Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is so famous for. Adjacent to Cloudy Bay. Harvested at optimum physiological ripeness and fermented with an array of indigenous and cultured yeast to further enhance the flavours and structure of the grapes. Each parcel was treated as an individual wine in the winery. After fermentation these individual wines were blended together, settled and integrated into tanks before bottling.

About the vineyard

Ruud Maasdam farms his Marlborough vineyard on land adjacent to Cloudy Bay – but in a small family run production where quality and attention to detail are paramount. He works three individual parcels of land, each planted a different Sauvignon grape, giving the wine tremendous individuality and personality.
