Fabre Montmayou pioneered the making of single varietal wine from Malbec grapes and this everyday example is made from grapes grown on 30-year-old vines, and vinified with no wood but in stainless steel casks, giving it a lightness of touch.
Expressive, spicy and ripe with cherry and blackcurrant aromas. More fruit on the palate with hints of liquorice and chocolate. Nice balance between fruit and tannins.
