This fully organic vineyard uses entirely traditional methods, including using horses, to farm the 50-year-old vines grown on plots on the highest terraces overlooking the River Rhone. Only 2 hectares of vines with a small yield of 30 hl/ha, grapes are hand picked and selected on the sorting table and barrel aged in 30% new oak and 50% one year old oak barrels which adds structure without overpowering the delicate flavours of the wine.
In the glass
Lovely pale gold colour. Floral nose combined with fresh peach, apricot, violet and pear. Complex palate with plenty of mineralogy and a generous, long and fresh finish.
