Set in the stunning landscape of the Rhone Valley, North of Nimes and not far from the village of Uzes, the Famille Montescaud comprise a group of small wine growers noted for the quality of their grapes and their stewardship of the terroir. Their wines are personality-driven, fruit forward and have unsurprisingly garnered both attention and awards. Delightfully easy to drink but with a finesse rarely found in wines at this price point.

"The nicest white wine we've had in ages. Fresh and light with no nasty acidity"

"A great new discovery!"

Group of small wine growers who are making really interesting wines in the heart of the Rhone valley. This blend of Viognier, Grenache blanc and Rousssane is made from low yields of grapes on the sunny slopes near to the village of Uzes. Skin contact maceration adds zest and depth of flavour and fermentation at low temperatures provides freshness and fruit.

Pale lemon colour with lovely floral and citrus aromas and a really fresh attack. Soft, fruity finish with more floral notes.
