Deep cherry red with ruby highlights, plenty of dark fruit, fig, and cedar on the nose with a beautifully balanced rich cherry palate, with hints of oak and spice. Long, expressive, harmonious finish.

What does Crianza mean on a Rioja label?

Crianza is applied to wines that are matured for at least 2 years at the winery before being released. Part of this time must be spent in oak barrels and part in the bottle.

"Just wow - this knocked my socks off. Excellent price too."

Made from estate-grown grapes harvested at optimal ripeness. The winery, led by Maite, a sixth-generation winemaker of the Quiroga de Pablo family. The wine is fermented in stainless steel with daily pump-overs and extended maceration for depth and colour. Aged 12–18 months in French and American oak, with racking every six months. After blending, the wine matures further in concrete tanks in the estate’s underground cellar, enhancing quality and complexity.
