How it's made

Laurent Jamet is the fourth generation to farm along the banks of the Loire - and this small parcel of very old vines (110 years) is vinified in honour of our old friends, the de Bruyns - who worked these plots for generations. Grass is grown between the vines which are debudded manually before harvesting. The wine is aged for a year in temperature controlled vats before bottling. No oak.

About the Vineyard

The Jamet family has been farming their land on the right bank of the Loire, near Saumur, for four generations. They took on the vines belonging to Pierre de Bruyn on the Left bank of the Loire to make this special cuvee in his honour, with 110 year old vines.
