Syrah, or Shiraz, as it is known in the New World, is a grape of complexity and style that works brilliantly with a range of foods and moods. Here are some of our favourites wines that are made entirely or partly with this spicy, sassy grape. Some of the most delicious Rosé wines are also made from Syrah, by allowing the white grape juice to macerate for a short time in the deep bluey black skins, giving the wine a beautiful rich pink colour packed with fresh, fruity flavours.
